Young Farmer Jeshua Tzib highlights future of Belizean Agriculture

By Zoila Palma:  At just 16 years old, San Antonio’s Jeshua Tzib is being recognized as a symbol of the future of Belizean agriculture after receiving the Junior Farmer of the Year award at National Agriculture and Trade show 2026.

Tzib manages a 105-acre farm, producing crops such as carrots, zucchini, and beans while also overseeing livestock operations including poultry, cattle, and beekeeping.

His use of climate-smart techniques such as drip irrigation and crop diversification reflects the show’s broader focus on sustainability and innovation in agriculture.
