The opening ceremonies were held on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at the Agric show grounds in Belmopan.
Farmers recognized at the event demonstrated the use of modern techniques such as drip irrigation, efficient land management, and crop diversification to address challenges posed by climate variability and market pressures.
The Ministry of Agriculture says that the focus aligns with national priorities to strengthen food security and build a more sustainable agricultural system for future generations.
