By Aaron Humes: A shooting incident occurred on Tuesday night in Lord’s Bank, Belize District, resulting in one fatality and four injuries.
According to reports, two men on a motorcycle opened fire on a group of people, leaving five individuals shot.
Deceased is Justin Animo, 20 years old, while four others sustained injuries: Jaden Martinez, 21, from Lord’s Bank; a minor, 14; Emerson Jeffords, 20, laborer from Crooked Tree, and Jose Rodriguez, 21 years old, laborer from Lord’s Bank Road.
All four injured individuals are reportedly in stable condition, receiving medical attention at a local hospital.
Police are currently investigating the incident, gathering details surrounding the shooting. The motive behind the attack is yet to be determined.
