By Breaking Belize News Staff: A Hattieville woman with previous drug-related convictions has been sentenced to six months in prison after pleading guilty to possession of a crack pipe.

Forty-three-year-old Keiran Diedra Moss appeared unrepresented before a Magistrate in Court #3 on Monday, where she was read a single charge of possession of utensils used for smoking drugs.

The charge follows a police search conducted on Saturday, June 27, 2026, in Taylor’s Alley, Belize City. Police say Moss was found with a shiny metal pipe measuring four inches in length, with burn marks on both sides. The pipe was reportedly found in the front pocket of her pants during a search conducted by police.

Moss pleaded guilty to the charge. The court imposed a custodial sentence after considering her record, which showed more than three previous drug-related convictions.

Moss had also been convicted on July 3, 2023, for possession of a crack pipe and was sentenced at that time to six months in jail.

For her latest conviction, Moss was sentenced to six months imprisonment.
