Double murder in City: Troy Hyde and Lamisha Moody, 15, gunned down at grocery shop

By Aaron Humes: One person is reportedly in police custody pending investigation of the murder of Troy Hyde, 36, and Lamisha Moody, 15, who were shot to death Wednesday night.

According to an official police report, at about 8:30 p.m. Hyde and the minor were at a shop at the corner of Curl Thompson and Mud Streets, not far from the area basketball court near Jane Usher Boulevard. While at the shop, a silver-coloured vehicle, coming from the direction of Curl Thompson Street, stopped in front of the said shop and three men came out firing on Hyde and the minor.

Hyde was pronounced dead on arrival at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) while Moody succumbed during treatment.

Police investigations continue.
