By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police are investigating a deadly robbery that claimed the life of a delivery man and left another injured on Chan Pine Ridge Road.
Reports indicate that on April 28, 2026, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Roberto Villafranco, a delivery driver, and his assistant, Felipe Vasquez, were traveling along the road when they were targeted by armed robbers.
During the incident, Villafranco was fatally shot. Vasquez sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and remains hospitalized in critical condition.
Police have launched an investigation into the attack. Additional details are expected as the investigation continues.
