By Zoila Palma: Today, the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) informed that it has temporarily closed mile 17.5 on the Hummingbird Highway due to road settlement.
MIDH says that the culvert has been assessed and is intact.
A team has been dispatched to immediately effect repairs so that section can be reopened.
All drivers are urged to take note and be aware that a team will be at work.
