By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The second leg of the Women’s National Interdistrict Cup (WNAIC) Semifinals will be played in Independence on Saturday.
Starting at 4:00 pm, the Red Bank Scarlet Girls FC will face off against Las Flores FC at Michael Ashcroft Stadium in Independence.
Red Bank Scarlet Girls, who finished in second-place in the regular season, have the upperhand having defeated Las Flores FC, who finished third, by the slimmest of margins, 1-0, in the first leg of the semifinals last Saturday at the FFB Stadium in Belmopan.
Arella Cal converted the only goal of the match in the 35th minute in the first game.
Red Bank FC are favorites to advance. However, Las Flores FC are ready to give it their all and turn the tables.
