By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On May 6, 2024, the University of Belize (UB) and the Statistical Institute of Belize (SIB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding for institutional cooperation.
“This momentous occasion signifies a deeper commitment to collaboration between two pillars of education and data in our nation. Together, we’re embarking on a journey of shared objectives, aimed at fostering innovation and growth,” the University said.
Through joint seminars, workshops, and research initiatives, UB and SIB aim to propel collective mission forward.
This collaboration opens doors to exciting opportunities for student internships, research projects, and public engagement initiatives.
“Together, we’ll harness the power of data to drive positive change and progress in Belize,” the University of Belize added.
