Digi celebrates record Dividend Payments, Elevating Belize’s Economic Landscape

Markhelm Lizarraga, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Belize Telemedia Limited (BTL), reaffirmed Digi’s unwavering dedication to its partnership with the Government of Belize.

In a symbolic gesture, he presented a cheque worth $6,823,454.60 to Michel Chebat, Minister of Public Utilities, Energy, Logistics, and E-Governance, symbolizing Digi’s pivotal role in fueling Belize’s economic growth and development.

Lizarraga further extended Digi’s commitment by presenting a cheque of $3,400,000.00 to the Social Security Board (SSB), amplifying the returns on investments for the organization.

 Nigeli Sosa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SSB, graciously accepted this gesture on behalf of the SSB, cementing the bond between Digi and one of Belize’s most vital institutions.
