By Zoila Palma: Following the deadly shootings last week and over the weekend, the UDP has called a press conference for Tuesday at 10am.
“The United Democratic Party is deeply concerned by the escalating criminal activity and gun violence on our city streets. Citizen security is seriously compromised, leaving families fearful and communities vulnerable, with grave implications for our national security,” Leader of the Opposition Tracy Panton said.
Panton says that the opposition stands ready to work constructively with the Government to identify and implement meaningful solutions to reduce crime, protect lives and restore safety in our communities.
The UDP plans to present policy recommendations to address crime.
“Protecting our citizens is an URGENT national priority,” Panton said.
