By Aaron Humes: An 18-year-old man known as James Saldano, colloquially referred to as “Scrubbing Board,” has been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting that took place in March. Saldano is charged with attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm, and grievous harm.
Police reports indicate that on March 5, Saldano allegedly opened fire on Tyrell Andrewin while the latter was sitting in a parked vehicle on Plues Street. According to eyewitness accounts, a van approached the scene, and an occupant unleashed a barrage of gunfire towards Andrewin, who was fortunately uninjured.
Saldano is currently in custody as the legal process continues.
