By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Stann Creek Football Association (SCFA) Championship postponed the Final and Third Place matches scheduled for Friday night at the Carl Ramos Stadium in Dangriga due to constant rain and intends to play the games on Saturday.
According to SCFA President Kevin Flores, the weather looks better on Saturday in Dangriga and figures they should be able to play both matches.
Griga Conquerors FC will meet RC Strikers FC at 8:30 pm in the Championship Final. The Third Place match set for 6:30 pm features New Site HD against Hopkins Ibayani FC.

Griga Conquerors have dominated the last two years of football in the Stann Creek District. They go in as favourites as they again won the regular season and beat fourth place Hopkins Ibayani in the semifinals to advance to their sixth consecutive final .
The RC Strikers are a new team in the SCFA. They finished third in the regular season but beat second place New Site HD in the semifinals to qualify for their first final.
Should the SCFA not be able to play the matches on Saturday, they plan to play them on Sunday at 3:00 pm and 5:30 pm.
The Stann Creek Football Association is putting on a musical show featuring DJ Buju, Chico Ramos, Sweet Pain 3.0, and live Garifuna cultural drumming.
