SQ Mega Stars beat SE Lady Jaguars 2-1, win back-to-back Women’s National Volleyball Championships

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The defending champions SQ Mega Stars successfully defended their national title defeating the SE Lady Jaguars 2-1 (25-19, 21-25, 15-10) in the Final of the Belize Volleyball Association (BVA) 2024 Belize Women’s National Volleyball Championship at the Mopan Technical High School Savannah Auditorium in Benque Viejo del Carmen on Sunday.

The Mega Stars and the SE Lady Jaguars reached the final undefeated, treating the nation to a well-played competitive final that climaxed with the SQ Mega Stars winning a second consecutive title.

The Belmopan Mystics claimed third place defeating the SQ Imperial Stars 2-0 (25-19, 25-12).

The SQ Mega Stars reached the Finals on a 2-0 (25-11, 25-16) win over the Belmopan Mystics in the semifinals while the SE Lady Jaguars beat the SQ Imperial Stars 2-0 (25-12, 25-12).

Games were played on Court 1 and Court 2 and live streamed by the Belize Volleyball Association (BVA).
