Taking place from July 1 to July 3, the symposium will bring together archaeologists, researchers, students, cultural heritage professionals, and enthusiasts to share the latest discoveries and research tied to Belize’s rich archaeological heritage.
As the largest conference and event venue in the Cayo District, San Ignacio Resort Hotel is well suited to host an event of this scale. Presentations will be held in the resort’s spacious Bedran Hall, with daily lectures beginning at 8:30 a.m. and coffee breaks and snacks provided throughout. The event will officially open with an invitation only reception on June 30.
Established in 1976, the Belizean family owned boutique hotel sits on a 17 acre private estate just five minutes from downtown San Ignacio, earning its reputation as the only jungle in town. General registration will be available from 7:30 a.m. each day, though organizers strongly encourage online pre registration as seating is limited. Belizean students attend free with a valid student ID, Belizean attendees pay BZD $10 per day, and the fee for foreign attendees will be announced soon.
