The Ministry of Infrastructure Development & Housing advises the public of a short-term closure of the Philip Goldson Highway between Rotary Roundabout and the Belcan Flag Roundabout. This closure is necessary for the application of hot-mix asphalt concrete road pavement. The closure will affect both inbound lanes, meaning the two right-hand lanes when driving toward the Belcan Flag Roundabout.
The closure will be in effect from Thursday, 13 February (at approximately midday) to Sunday, 16 February 2025. Please note that these times are subject to change based on weather conditions. The MIDH and the road contractor will take all necessary measures to minimize the closure period.
The Ministry apologizes for any inconvenience to businesses that may be affected; however, it is crucial to complete these works during favorable weather conditions.
Motorists are advised to plan their trip accordingly and use Coney Drive or other alternative routes as directed by traffic management personnel.
