Prime Minister wishes all Belizeans a Happy Easter!

“Easter is for our Christian believers about the risen Christ’s triumph over death, a time to reflect on the grace of everlasting life with God,” the Prime Minister said.

Christians are preparing to celebrate Good Friday commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus and his death at Calvary.

Processions and the re-enactment of Jesus’ sacrifice for us are some of the traditions that mark Good Friday.

Around the country, families come together to spend time with children and family, participate in egg hunts, beach sojourns or a time at a favorite family gathering place.
