By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Week 13 of the Premier League of Belize 2025–2026 Opening Championship kicks off with a top-of-the-table clash on Saturday, November 1, as Verdes FC welcome Progresso FC to the Edmund Marshalleck Stadium in Benque Viejo del Carmen. The match begins at 7:30 pm.
Verdes FC, still unbeaten and sitting atop the standings, will look to extend their dominance against second-place Progresso, who trail by just four points. With both sides boasting prolific attacks—Verdes with 24 goals and Progresso with a league-leading 31—fans can expect a fast-paced, tactical battle. The result could reshape the title race heading into the final stretch.
Saturday night also features Capital Sport Club hosting Napoles FC at 7:30 pm at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium in Belmopan. The weekend wraps up Sunday, November 9, with Port Layola FC facing Belmopan FC at 4:00 pm at the Marion Jones Sports Complex in Belize City.
