By Zoila Palma: The Ministry of Human Development and the National Commission for Families and Children – Belize (NCFC) has launched the “Wear blue Fridays” in July.
“This July, we invite everyone across Belize to wear blue every Friday in support of the Blue Teddy Bear Campaign and help shine a light on the fight against Trafficking in Persons,” the commission said.
NCFC says that every blue shirt, dress, ribbon, or accessory is more than a color; it is a symbol of hope, protection, and a shared commitment to keeping children and vulnerable persons safe from exploitation.
The Ministry noted that together, we can raise awareness, start important conversations, and show that our communities stand united against trafficking.
