Hummingbird Highway to be closed temporarily Wednesday, Thursday for repairs

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development & Housing has announced a temporary closure of the Hummingbird Highway at Mile 31, on Wednesday, April 2, and Thursday, April 3, 2025.

The closure is required to facilitate the replacement of a collapsed culvert, ensuring safer road conditions for motorists. During this period, a detour will be in place to redirect traffic, and drivers are urged to approach the area with caution while adhering to safety advisories.

Authorities remind the public to remain vigilant and observe traffic warnings, following the directions of safety officers and flagmen stationed near the work zone.

Motorists should anticipate delays and plan alternative routes accordingly until the road is reopened.
