By Zoila Palma: In celebration of Women’s Month, the women of the Eastern Police Division are coming together to give back to their communities through a series of impactful service projects.
From beautifying public spaces to providing support for those in need, the officers are working hand-in-hand with residents to make a positive difference.
Here’s how they’re giving back across various locations:
San Pedro: Beautifying Flamboyant Park (Coco Plum Street)
Caye Caulker: Removing sargassum from the beach
HQED: Enhancing Armadillo Playground (Armadillo Street)
Division One: Cleaning Neal’s Penn Rd Ext. Basketball Court
Division Two: Assisting a senior citizen with yard cleaning (13th Street)
GI3: Visiting and supporting a Children’s Home
Ladyville: Cleaning and painting the park in the Japan area
Hattieville Sub-Formation: Visiting Golden Heaven Rest Home for the Elderly
In addition to these projects, the Prosecution Branch will be distributing warm meals to the homeless, further showing their commitment to those in need.
This is a chance for the public to connect, support, and engage with their local officers.
