By Aaron Humes: A Christmas Eve double chopping sent two men to hospital in the southern village of San Antonio, Toledo District.
According to police, three men were socializing in the village around two in the afternoon and got into an argument. One of them took a machete from his pants waist and cut the others, identified as Francisco Cal and Simeon Bul. Cal was chopped in the right ear, the side of the left ear and left side of the head.
The attacker has been detained and both Cal and Bul were taken by ambulance to Punta Gorda Town Hospital. Police investigations are underway.
