Cycling Federation of Belize holds traditional Holy Thursday cyclists’ parade prior to 94th Annual Holy Saturday Cross Country Cycling Classic

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Cycling Federation of Belize (CFB) is holding the traditional Holy Thursday Cyclists’ Parade prior to 94^th Annual Holy Saturday Cross Country Cycling Classic on Holy Thursday.

The CFB said the parade which features the majority of riders competing in Belize top cycling race is being held after the Team  Presentation at Digi Park.

The Team Presentation was to have started at 3:00 pm but was delayed.

The Cyclists Parade route is as follows:

Digi Park, towards the Town Clock at the junction of Freetown and Barrack Roads, Victoria Street, North Front Street,  Swing Bridge, Albert Street all the way to the end at St. John’s Cathedral, Regent Street,  back over Swing Bridge, Queen Street, Daly Street, Craig St, Barrack Road, Freetown Road, turns at the Flag Monument, Belcan Bridge, Central American Boulevard, turns at the Hand Monument, back on Central American Blvd, Belcan Bridge, Princess Margaret Drive, and finishes at Digi Park.at Digi Park, heads to San Ignacio, and then returns to Belize City to finish around noon.
