By Breaking Belize News Staff: Two men from southern Belize have been arrested and charged with drug trafficking after a police operation conducted by the GI3 unit.
Nelson Cal, 26, of Bella Vista Village, Toledo has been charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply to another person after police found 34 small foil packages containing crack cocaine in his pants pocket. In total, the crack found on Cal amounted to 3.4 grams.
In another operation, John Gabourel, 65, of Punta Gorda Town, Toledo was charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply to another person after he was intercepted by police leaving a bus terminal with a manila envelope with 2 plastic bags containing 57.79 grams of crack cocaine.
