By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Commissioner of Police Chester Williams has announced that the CABEI project will be rolled out this year and this will support the construction of new police stations and renovations of existing police stations.
The Commissioner said that this will boost the welfare and moral of officers as well as improve the quality of service to the community.
“We have seen that we have made great improvements in some areas of the country but you know money is not there as we may want it to be, it’s a scarcity at times, and when we do get, we have to pinch a little for here, a little for there so that we can provide as best as we can to all police officers across the country so those areas where we’re seeing buildings dilapidating, we’re coming to them, we’ll ensure that in 2025 we’ll do better in terms of renovating them and make these offices and buildings a better working environment for our police officers,” the Compol added.
