By Aaron Humes: A burglary incident occurred at a residential property in Ladyville Village, prompting a police investigation after a local resident reported the theft of various items from the home of her missing brother, Mason Patnett.
The incident took place sometime between Monday evening and Tuesday afternoon at Patnett’s home located at Vista Del Mar, where he was last seen over the weekend of January 4.
The suspect or suspects are believed to have gained entry by breaking a glass window on the western side of the wooden structure, which is elevated approximately three feet off the ground. Among the stolen items were a black crock pot valued at $95, a trimming machine set worth $75, and two empty crystal 5-gallon water bottles priced at $25 each. Additional thefts included a roll of duct tape valued at $10 and various grocery items, totaling an estimated $230.
Police have begun an investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with information related to the burglary to come forward and contact the Ladyville Police Station as they continue their investigation into this ongoing case.
