By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating a incident that occurred in Xaibe Village, Corozal District, where reports have emerged of a violent chopping attack.
This morning, residents of the area alerted law enforcement after witnessing a person reportedly being chopped, leading to the victim being left motionless at the scene. Emergency services were dispatched immediately, and the victim was transported to a local medical facility for urgent attention.
Investigators are currently gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack. No further details about the victim’s identity or the motives behind the incident have been released at this time. Updates will follow as more information becomes available.
