By Zoila Palma: Belize is being represented at the 66th Ordinary Meeting of the Board of Governors of CABEI by Dr. Osmond Martinez, Minister of State in the Ministry of Economic Transformation.
The event is being held in Oviedo, Spain.
With discussions centered on promoting sustainable infrastructure investments, Minister Martinez took the opportunity to hold a side meeting with Spain’s First Vice President and Minister of Economy, Trade and Business Carlos Cuerpo Caballero.
On the agenda for the meeting were the strengthening of bilateral relations, technical support, knowledge transfer in tourism and engineering, climate finance, and the monetization of carbon credits.
