By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Belizeans can look forward to another beautiful day as mainly fair weather conditions continue to dominate the country heading into the weekend.

According to the National Meteorological Service, today will be mostly sunny with a few cloudy spells throughout the day, while tonight is expected to remain partly cloudy and generally pleasant.

Showers and thunderstorms are forecast to remain isolated across most of Belize. However, forecasters say a few showers or thunderstorms could develop over the Maya Mountains this afternoon and later spread into southern areas tonight.

Temperatures will remain warm nationwide, with inland communities expected to reach highs of 94 degrees Fahrenheit. Coastal areas will see temperatures around 88 degrees, while hill regions can expect highs near 84 degrees.

Marine conditions remain moderate with easterly winds blowing between 10 and 20 knots and wave heights ranging from 4 to 6 feet.

There is also encouraging news for those monitoring the tropics, as forecasters say tropical cyclone formation is not expected anywhere in the region during the next 48 hours.

For most Belizeans, the forecast means another ideal day for outdoor activities, family gatherings and weekend travel.
