By Zoila Palma: Today, the San Ignacio and Santa Elena Town Council marked a truly historic milestone with the unveiling of the Roll of Past Mayors, a lasting tribute to the dedicated men and women whose leadership has helped shape the growth, development, and identity of our beloved municipality.
During the ceremony, the council recognized Minister Orlando Habet, who faithfully served as Mayor of the San Ignacio & Santa Elena Town Council from 2000 to 2003.
During his tenure, he worked diligently alongside his council to improve the lives of residents and contribute to the continued progress of our Twin Towns.
The Roll of Past Mayors is a tribute to leaders in our community that answered the call to public service and dedicated themselves to the betterment of our community.
