UDP congratulates National Trade Union Congress of Belize on 60th anniversary

By Zoila Palma: Today, Leader of the Opposition Tracy Panton extended congratulations to the National Trade Union Congress of Belize (NTUCB) as it marks a significant milestone, celebrating 60 years of steadfast service to the people of Belize.

“Established in 1966, the NTUCB has built a proud legacy rooted in the protection of workers’ rights, principled advocacy on matters of national importance, and an enduring commitment to nation building. For six decades, the Congress and its affiliated unions have stood as a powerful voice for Belizean workers, championing fairness, dignity, and justice in the workplace,” Panton said.

Panton reminds that the NTUCB continues to play a vital role in shaping a more equitable and inclusive society.

“The United Democratic Party extends its sincerest congratulations to the leadership, membership, and sister unions of the NTUCB. We thank you for your unwavering dedication and your invaluable contributions to the development of our nation,” Panton added.
