By Aaron Humes: A woman is facing charges after a fatal road traffic accident in Franks Eddy Village, Cayo District, on Sunday, March 1. Andrea Reyes is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol when she struck and killed Elgar Estrada.
According to ACP Hilberto Romero, Head of the National Crime Investigation Branch, police responded to the scene and found Estrada’s lifeless body. Reyes was taken into custody, and samples were collected for forensic analysis.
Reyes is expected to be charged with Estrada’s death. The investigation is ongoing, with police urging anyone with information to come forward.
