By Breaking Belize News Staff: A moderate and relatively moist easterly airflow continues to affect the country, bringing generally fair weather conditions across most areas. Today will see mostly sunny skies with some cloudy intervals. Isolated showers are expected, primarily over southern parts of the country this morning and again tonight, where isolated thunderstorms are also possible.
Winds will blow from the east at 10 to 15 knots, and seas will remain in light chop with wave heights ranging from 2 to 4 feet.
Temperatures will peak at 93°F inland, 88°F along the coast, and 80°F in the hills. Overnight lows are forecast at 74°F inland, 80°F along coastal areas, and 68°F in elevated terrain.
The outlook for Saturday calls for continued fair weather with isolated showers. However, increased rainfall and thunderstorms are expected to develop Saturday night, especially over southern Belize and coastal areas.
There is no tropical cyclone formation expected in the North Atlantic Basin within the next 48 hours.
