By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Institute of Archaeology noted that all water-based tour activities can resume at Nohoch Che’en , Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM), and Barton Creek caves.
Tour Guides and Tour Operators are advised to exercise caution on the river crossings to access Barton Creek.
Due to elevated river level, the Xunantunich Archaeological Reserve is CLOSED.
The Institute of Archaeology continues to monitor and will provide updates as necessary.
