By Breaking Belize News Staff: Moist and unstable weather conditions prevail across the country, creating the potential for increased showers and isolated thunderstorms.
The Belize Met Service reports that today’s forecast calls for “cloudy spells with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms, increasing around the country tonight.”
Marine conditions remain relatively calm, with winds from the east to southeast at 5 to 15 knots, a slight sea state, and wave heights of 1 to 3 feet. Temperatures along the coast will reach highs of 89°F (32°C) and lows of 83°F (28°C). Inland areas will experience highs of 95°F (35°C) and lows of 74°F (23°C), while the hills are forecasted at 83°F (28°C) during the day and 68°F (20°C) at night.
According to the Belize Met Service, no tropical cyclone formation is expected in the North Atlantic Basin during the next 48 hours. Looking ahead, “some showers and a few thunderstorms are expected around the country on Tuesday, decreasing and affecting mainly southern areas Tuesday night.”
