By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Belizeans can look forward to a much drier day today as relatively dry conditions continue to dominate across the country.
According to the National Meteorological Service, sunny skies with only a few cloudy spells are expected throughout Wednesday, bringing a welcome break from the unsettled weather experienced in recent days.
Forecasters say showers and thunderstorms will remain isolated for most of the country, although southern districts could see a few more developing tonight.
Temperatures are expected to remain hot, especially inland where highs could reach 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Coastal communities can expect temperatures near 89 degrees, while the hills will remain cooler with highs around 82 degrees.
Marine conditions remain choppy to moderate, with easterly to southeasterly winds blowing between 10 and 20 knots and waves ranging from 3 to 6 feet.
There is additional good news for Belizeans keeping an eye on the tropics. Meteorologists say tropical cyclone development is not expected anywhere in the region during the next 48 hours.
