By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): An 18-year-old driver has been cited following a traffic accident along the Phillip Goldson Highway near San Pablo Village.
Reports indicate that the incident occurred around 7:25 a.m. on April 29, when Einer Joaquin Arcurio attempted to make a U-turn and collided with a motorcycle.
Police say Arcurio admitted fault for the accident and was detained for driving without due care and attention, obstructing the free flow of traffic, and failing to give way when entering a major road. He was later served with a notice of intended prosecution and released.
The motorcyclist, identified as a police corporal sustained minor injuries to his knees and upper body.
