By Zoila Palma: The Taiwan Embassy in Belize officially welcomed five Taiwanese youths on September 2, 2025, as part of the Taiwan Global Pathfinders Initiative—a program aimed at fostering cultural understanding and international collaboration.
During their stay, the participants will engage in a variety of cultural, environmental, and civic activities in partnership with key local organizations.
The Embassy extended its gratitude to the Turneffe Atoll Sustainability Association (TASA), Belize Audubon Society (BAS), Belmopan City Council, Belize City Council, and Orange Walk Town Council for their vital support in making the initiative possible.
“We wish the five young Taiwanese a fulfilling and fruitful experience in Belize,” the Embassy stated. “We look forward to even more vibrant cultural and educational exchanges between Taiwan and Belize in the future.”
