The Taiwan Embassy in Belize extends sincere wishes to the United States of America for a happy Independence Day.
“This year also marks the 30th anniversary of the first direct presidential election of Taiwan. The history that both peoples of Taiwan and the United States courageously pursue freedom bring both countries closer together,” the Taiwan Embassy said.
Taiwan pledged to keep strengthening cooperation with the United States in ways to advance freedom, democracy, and prosperity.
Ambassador Amino Chi and his wife along with colleagues, were delighted to attend the reception in celebration of the 250th anniversary of American Independence, jointly witnessing the significant historical milestone.
