By Aaron Humes: After a lull of several months, suspected drug trafficking activity has picked up with three recent plane landings and rumors of others.
The most recent happened on Sunday near the village of Dolores, Toledo District. About three miles from the village, a burnt jet was discovered, completely unsalvageable, with no sign of its suspected cargo.
Police continue to search for the cargo and those who may be involved with the landing and/or transportation of the cargo, but have yet to narrow down their suspects.
