By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Maya House of Cacao is holding a Pop-Up Shop, which they describe as ‘A Festive Showcase of Southern Belize Entrepreneurs’, at its headquarters at Mile 18.5 on the San Antonio Road in Toledo on Saturday, December 16.
The Pop-Up Shop will run from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm at the Maya House of Cacao and Chocolate Museum Compound.
The Maya House of Cacao is inviting local entrepreneurs and businesses in Southern Belize to be a part of the pop up to showcase their products.
“This event serves as a dynamic platform to unite entrepreneurs in southern Belize, providing them with a stage to showcase their products and services, fostering community engagement, and creating opportunities for collaboration,” the Toledo Cacao Growers Association (TCGA) said.
“Additionally, it will mark the official launch of the Maya House of Cacao as a versatile venue open for tours and rentals. As we celebrate our rich history, we aim to spotlight the impactful works of TCGA over the past 37 years, showcasing our commitment to community development, sustainable practices, and the empowerment of local entrepreneurs.
The TCGA will take the opportunity to reveal their vision for value-added products and services, and their intention for the Maya House of Cacao to be a center of excellence, culture, and development for the southern community.
