According to the Belize Meteorological Service, the rainfall will primarily affect coastal areas, though other regions may also see occasional showers throughout the day and night.
Marine conditions remain moderate, with east-northeast winds blowing at 10-15 knots. Wave heights are forecast to range from 4 to 6 feet, making the sea manageable but requiring caution for small vessels. Operators engaging in marine activities should remain alert to any changes in sea state as conditions persist.
Temperatures will remain warm and seasonally mild. Coastal areas are forecast to reach daytime highs of 82°F (28°C) and drop to 74°F (23°C) overnight. Inland regions will see slightly warmer highs of 84°F (29°C) and cooler nighttime lows of 68°F (20°C). In the hills, daytime temperatures will peak at 70°F (21°C), with nighttime lows dropping to 60°F (16°C).
The outlook for Tuesday and Tuesday night suggests similar weather conditions will prevail, with cloudy skies, scattered showers, and light rain persisting across the country, particularly in coastal areas.
Tidal activity for today includes a high tide at 9:32 AM, a low tide at 2:03 PM, and another high tide at 8:26 PM. Tomorrow’s early low tide is forecast for 4:00 AM. Sunrise occurred at 6:25 AM, and sunset is expected at 5:45 PM. The moon will set at 4:05 PM today and rise again at 5:50 AM tomorrow.
Forecaster Francisca Wellington advises residents and visitors to prepare for occasional showers throughout the day, particularly in coastal areas. While conditions remain manageable for outdoor and marine activities, caution is encouraged due to intermittent rainfall and moderate sea conditions.
