Napoles FC sealed first place in the Premier Women’s League of Belize (PWLB) 2025 Opening Championship regular season after a commanding 5–0 victory over Corozal Elite FC at the FFB Stadium in Belmopan on Wednesday night.
Striker Heidy Lopez led the charge with a stunning four-goal performance, scoring in the 10th, 35th, 59th, and 65th minutes, while Carlene Tillet added the fifth in the 73rd minute to cap off a dominant display.
The win lifted Napoles to 27 points, a tally that reigning champions Sagitun GIRLZ cannot surpass even with victory in their ongoing match against Jaguar Girls.
