By Zoila Palma: The Belize Marketing and Development Corporation (BMDC) will join this year’s BCCI Marketplace Expo Belize, giving consumers an opportunity to discover and support locally produced goods. The event is scheduled for September 12 and 13 at the Marion Jones Sports Complex on Princess Margaret Drive in Belize City, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
BMDC will be located at Booths 44 and 45, where visitors can shop a selection of products made by Belizean farmers and producers.
Featured products will include Belize Jewels Honey, Big Falls Rice and Belize Jewels Fruit Pulp, among other locally produced items.
In addition to showcasing Belizean products, BMDC will offer special discounts and hamper giveaways throughout the two-day marketplace.
BMDC said its participation is part of its continued effort to promote Belizean products and strengthen opportunities for local farmers, producers and businesses.
