By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Isidoro Beaton Stadium will set the stage for an intense battle this Saturday as second-place Jewel Fury FC hosts the struggling Cayo Dreamers in a critical Week 6 matchup of the Premier Women’s League of Belize (PWLB).
With Jewel Fury FC chasing league leaders Sagitun GIRLZ, this match presents an opportunity to gain crucial points. Fury have shown strong form this season, earning ten points from three wins, one draw, and one loss. A victory here would further solidify their title hopes.
On the other hand, Cayo Dreamers are still searching for their first breakthrough. With no points from four matches and a staggering 35 goals conceded, Dreamers will need a stellar defensive effort to withstand Fury’s attacking threats.
