Jaylen Lennan gave the Benque side, now coached by Marvin ‘Marvelous’ Ottley, an early lead in the sixth minute. Then, at the end of the first half, Moises Hernandez increased the lead to 2-0 in the 43rd minute.

The tide turned un the second half with the Bandits surge that resulted in goals by Honduran Gerson Neftaly Jhonson Membreño in the 54^th and Jonard Castillo in the 65th minute.

When the 2-2 draw looked like the final score, Jahyrl Smith, just like last week, struck the 3-2 game winner with a header from within the penalty box in the 90’+1.

Benque Viejo United move up to 19 points and momentarily catch up with Port Layola, who on Sunday play Police Benque at 5:00 pm at the FFB Stadium.

Bandits remain in seventh place with four points.
