Politics heat up in Cayo Central as PUP accuses UDP of destroying banners

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The Cayo Central electoral division is known to be in the midst of political controversy.

Every election season, the major political parties, PUP and UDP campaign on the ground and with the use of political banners.

Today, the UDP is being accused of destroying the PUP banners installed at public locations across Santa Elena Town.

Sources to BBN allege that the former UDP Chairman and activist took down the PUP’s banners and destroyed them.

BBN understands that as the political climate heats up leading to the Municipal elections in March, the police have been requested to intervene.
