By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On April 16, 2024, a teen boy and his mom visited the Punta Gorda Police station and reported that on Sunday, April 14, around 2:45 am, a police officer had sexual relations with him.
The 29-year-old police officer was detained and charged for Unnatural Crime of Carnal Intercourse against the order of nature with a minor.
Several reports indicate that the officer was attached to the Domestic violence unit.
