Police name suspect in Christon Logan murder

By Aaron Humes: One Cornelio Martinez of Independence Village, Stann Creek District has been named as the alleged shooter in the death of Christon Logan, a Belizean-American, in front of a night club in Bella Vista, Toledo District, early this Sunday morning.

At about 2:58 a.m. according to police, they responded to a report in the village in front of an establishment and found Logan, 34, apparently dead.

Logan and a female companion had departed the establishment and were heading towards his vehicle when an exchange of words occurred between him and Martinez, 39, which police say allegedly resulted in Martinez shooting and killing Logan.

Police are now investigating.
