Police investigating alleged sexual assault of girl, eight

By Aaron Humes: A police investigation has been opened into an incident reported on Saturday afternoon.

In the village of Rancho Dolores, Belize District, police were told that the nephew of a teacher originally from Maxboro outside Sandhill allegedly touched her eight-year-old daughter on her vagina and inserted one of his fingers inside her vagina.

A social worker has been contacted and a medical examination has been scheduled as part of the ongoing investigation.
